Here is a brief description of the program:
Bend Endurance Academy is excited to offer after school mountain biking programs for BIS students. BEA talented and trained staff will pick up riders directly from school and head out to the trails for an afternoon of fun. We teach safe group-riding, trail etiquette and personal skills to allow our group to enjoy a recreational mountain bike ride. The goals of this program include: Having fun together, making new friends; learning new skills; learning to ride in a group safely and courteously; creating a long-lasting respect for & appreciation of our trails and natural environment; exploring new trails and making improvements on familiar ones; gaining fitness and confidence so our kids want to ride more.
Parents pick up at 6:30 PM at Bend Park And Ride.
This program is run by Bend Endurance Academy. Limited scholarships are available. Please apply early to ensure space is available. Participants must bring a mountain bike, helmet, and water bottle and snack. If your child needs a bike or helmet, contact BEA for support.
