Bend International School offers a creative, healthy lunch program that reflects our “local-global” philosophy and curricular goals, with meals inspired by cuisines from around the world. We proudly participate in the National School Lunch Program, which provides free and reduced-price meals to qualifying families. No student will be denied food for lack of payment. To qualify as a reimbursable meal, students must select the required meal components. If a student’s selections do not meet these requirements, the items will be charged individually at à la carte prices. À la carte items are not covered by free or reduced-price meal benefits. School Lunch Accounts & Ordering

Families can now order school lunches online! Use MySchoolBucks to manage your student’s meal account and Meal Orders to select and order meals.

1. Create Your MySchoolBucks Account

If you haven’t already, visit myschoolbucks.com to create your free account and add your student using their school name and student ID.

Through MySchoolBucks, you can view cafeteria purchases, check your student’s balance, and add funds using a credit/debit card or electronic check.

2. Place Your Lunch Orders

Visit mealorders.com and sign in using your MySchoolBucks account. From there, select and order meals for your student.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

Wellness Committee

BIS maintains a standing Wellness Committee composed of representatives of: students, parents/guardians, teachers (including PE and health), food service staff, administrators, Board members, and community health professionals. The committee meets at least annually and whenever the Wellness Policy is reviewed or revised.
