Applications are being accepted for all grades K-8 for the 24-25 School Year.
We have openings in 4th, 6th, and 8th grade

Bend International School Admissions Policy
Bend International School serves all students from any Central Oregon school district who seek an innovative and international education.
If there are more applicants than spots available per class, Bend International School will hold a lottery in conjunction with the Bend La-Pine School District to fill these spots. Bend International School will draw the names of all of the students who applied, and assemble a class list and a waitlist, in the order drawn. Students will have a 1 week period to decide whether they would like to commit to attend Bend International School. (This date will be announced on the website, and in the letter of acceptance).
Priority will be given to:
- Children of staff
- Siblings of students
Per our contract, with Bend-Lapine School District Bend International School has no cap on students who live outside of the Bend-La Pine School District. 195 students will be in-district, and out of district students will be added where there is space available. Out -of-district students will be added in order of their lottery number or date of application when applicable. You must apply each school year to keep application active. You will retain your lottery number and place on the waitlist however applications must be resubmitted each year by the lottery application deadline, year expressing your intent to enroll if a spot becomes available.
If there are spaces available after the cutoff date in any of our classes, BIS will continue to enroll students, in the order in which their applications are received.

Si hay espacios disponibles después de la fecha de corte en cualquiera de nuestras clases, BIS seguirá inscribiendo a los estudiantes, en el orden en que reciben sus solicitudes.
