Before Care 2025-26 School Year

At Bend International School, we provide a before school care option for families to support work schedules. The program runs from 7:30 am to 8:40 am each day, after which our grounds are open for all students until 8:55 am when they go into class. Before care begins on September 4th.

To better meet the needs of our students who access before care, we have made the following changes for the 2025-26 school year.
  • K – 4 students – Arrive at the drop off circle and enter the Big Room. Rotating activities will be provided, alongside PBS Sesame Street and access to the playground.
  • 5 – 8 students – Arrive at the drop off circle and enter the Gym. Rotating activities will be provided, including gym-based activities.
The cost for this program is $300 per year, which covers flexible use of the program by day and time. Cost for an additional sibling(s) is $200 per year. Payment plans are available.

Scholarships are available for all eligible students based on eligibility for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Additional requests will be reviewed based on need.

Camp Fire Afterschool Program at Bend International School for the 25-26 School Year

Aftercare at Bend International School is run by Camp Fire Afterschool (CFA). CFA is a flexible and fun option for families looking to balance after school care with enrichment opportunities and social-emotional skill development. CFA supports youth in exploring their sparks, practicing social skills, creating connections, building community, and gaining confidence.

🇪🇸 Spanish Club with Maestro Jim

  • Grades: 3–8
  • Day/Time:Thursdays, 3:30–4:15 PM 
  • Location: 8th Grade Classroom
  • Dates: January 16 – March 12
  • Cost: $90

  • Description: Take your Spanish skills to the next level 

🎨 Art Exploration Club with Fun works

  • Grades: K-3
  • Day/Time: Thursdays, 3:30–4:30 PM
  • Location: MS Science Lab
  • Dates: January 16 – March 12
  • Cost: $100
  • Capacity: 16 students
  • Description: The Art Exploration club does 8-10 mixed media projects that combine art history and artistic exploration through imaginative and creative art projects

🎨 Lego Club with Fun Works

  • Grades: K-5
  • Day/Time: Tuesdays, 3:30–5:00 PM
  • Location: Music Room
  • Dates: January 13 – March 10
  • Cost: $135
  • Capacity: 20 students
  • Description: Motorized LEGO is used while learning Stem and building. Each build  has a few stem principles. All projects are modified, customized and decorated. Creativity, exploration and fun is our goal. Check out the fun projects on Instagram Funworkslego. 

👩‍🍳 Little Chefs with Teresa

  • Grades: 2–5
  • Day/Time: Wednesdays, 2:00–3:00 PM
  • Location: 3rd Grade Classroom
  • Dates: January 21 – March 4 (7-week session)
  • Cost: $115
  • Capacity: 10 students
  • Description: Explore new recipes, learn kitchen skills, and have fun cooking and tasting your creations!

💡 Teens in Action with CampFire

  • Grades: 6–8
  • Day/Time: Wednesday, 2:00–3:30 PM
  • Location: Middle School Classroom
  • Dates: January 14 – March 11
  • Cost: $0 (funded by grants)
  • Capacity: 12 students
  • Description: Engage in fun, hands-on service projects and leadership activities that make a positive impact on our school and community!
