Our Story

Bend International School: Inspiring Global Citizens Since 2015
Founded in 2015 by Meera Rupp, Bend International School (BIS) became Central Oregon’s first and only K-8 Public Charter School focused on international education. Approved by the Bend-La Pine School District, BIS is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and a global perspective in every aspect of learning. Over the years, we have grown into Bend’s premier charter school for a diverse, world-class education, serving and empowering the students of Central Oregon.
